🐕 Dog Allies Lab
Learn to speak dog! Understand, respect, and connect with our canine friends.
Dog Allies Lab is where young people learn to truly understand dogs — not just how to pet them, but how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and build real trust. This is especially important for young people who live with dogs, visit homes with dogs, or dream of having one someday.
What Young people Learn
Reading Body Language
Tail position, ear shape, eye contact — dogs are always talking. We teach young people to listen with their eyes.
Building Trust
How to approach dogs safely, earn their trust, and understand when a dog needs space — including fearful and reactive dogs.
Being a True Ally
What dogs need to thrive, how rescue works, and what it means to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves.
